Podemos definir a la solidaridad<\/strong> como el acto mediante el cual una persona realiza acciones en beneficio de otro sin recibir nada a cambio. La solidaridad es, realmente, la base de la sociedad humana si se tiene en cuenta que cuid\u00e1ndonos unos a otros es que podemos sobrevivir. Sin embargo, en los d\u00edas actuales la solidaridad suele pasar desapercibida o no ocupar tanto espacio en nuestras vidas debido a todas las ocupaciones y temas a resolver que solemos tener.<\/p>

Esto hace que el fen\u00f3meno de la solidaridad sea muy particular: hay situaciones o circunstancias en las que los habitantes de una comunidad se activan y ponen en juego la solidaridad m\u00e1s elemental (por ejemplo, cuando se organizan para ayudar a los damnificados por una cat\u00e1strofe clim\u00e1tica) pero tambi\u00e9n hay situaciones en las que el individualismo prima y cuesta ver al otro que sufre, solo, en la calle, sin amparo de nadie.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t

We can define solidarity as the act by which a person performs actions for the benefit of another without receiving anything in return. Solidarity is really the basis of human society, if one takes into account that caring for one another is a way to survive. However, in the present day, solidarity usually goes unnoticed or does not occupy so much space in our lives due to all the occupations and issues to solve daily. Therefore, this makes the phenomenon of solidarity very particular: There are situations or circumstances in which the inhabitants of a community are motivated and then put into play the most elementary aspects of solidarity. For example, when a community is organized to help those affected by a natural disaster. Also, there are situations in which individualism prevails and it is difficult to see other individuals who suffer alone in the street without the protection of anyone.<\/p>

La solidaridad es un acto humano de ayudar al otro y contribuye al desarrollo social.<\/strong><\/p>

La importancia de la solidaridad tiene que ver entonces directamente con el desarrollo social. En este sentido, es importante aclarar que por solidaridad entendemos cualquier acto desinteresado que pueda significar un beneficio para un tercero y que en el fondo tambi\u00e9n supone alg\u00fan nivel de satisfacci\u00f3n para aquel que lo lleva acabo.<\/p>

Si bien normalmente la idea de solidaridad se relaciona con la noci\u00f3n de grupos sociales humildes o menos privilegiados, hay muchas acciones que uno puede realizar durante el d\u00eda que son solidarias, como por ejemplo ayudar a un anciano a cruzar la calle, participar en alg\u00fan proyecto de voluntariado, etc. Siempre que existe la solidaridad existir\u00e1 alguien necesitado y alguien que pueda cubrir esas necesidades, la dif\u00edcil tarea ser\u00e1 lograr que esas necesidades se vean cumplidas en todo momento y no por un rato o un per\u00edodo de tiempo breve.<\/p>

La solidaridad es sin dudas importante ya que a partir de ella la sociedad funciona m\u00e1s armoniosamente. Esto es as\u00ed ya que toda aquella persona que act\u00fae solidariamente tiene que tener necesariamente alg\u00fan nivel de conciencia sobre la situaci\u00f3n menos privilegiada que el otro est\u00e1 pasando y elegir conscientemente a partir de all\u00ed ayudarlo realizando diverso tipo de acciones que puedan colaborar para que esa situaci\u00f3n cambie.<\/p>

The importance of solidarity has to do directly with social development. In this sense, it is important to clarify that we understand solidarity as any selfless act that benefits a third party and represents some level of satisfaction for those who carry it out. Although normally the idea of \u200b\u200bsolidarity is related to the notion of humble or less privileged social groups, there are many actions that one can perform during the day that are acts of solidarity; such as, helping an elderly person to cross the street, participate in a volunteer project, etc. Whenever there is solidarity there will be someone in need and someone who can meet those needs. The difficult task will be to ensure that those needs are met at all times. Solidarity is undoubtedly important because from it society works more harmoniously. It is believed that all those who act in solidarity have some level of awareness about the situation that the less privileged are going through and then, consciously choose from there to help them by carrying out various types of actions that can change the situation.<\/p>

Hay muchas maneras de ser solidario y si bien algunas personas participan de manera constante y mucho m\u00e1s activamente, uno tambi\u00e9n es solidario cuando realiza una acci\u00f3n particular que puede no tener continuidad en el tiempo (como por ejemplo cuando se colabora en alguna colecta social). Lo importante es tener en cuenta que todos los aportes que uno pueda hacer servir\u00e1n para mejorar la calidad de vida de aquellos que no tienen todo y que entonces, la solidaridad puede f\u00e1cilmente convertirse en un medio para dar soluci\u00f3n o ayuda a quienes m\u00e1s lo necesitan y tambi\u00e9n para que nos sintamos parte de un todo que es la sociedad, una sociedad que debe ser vivible para todos sus miembros y habitantes.<\/p>

Por todo lo anterior Nashville School Tegucigalpa<\/strong> ha creado el programa de solidaridad con el cual se pretende crear consciencia en los estudiantes desde Sexto Grado hasta D\u00e9cimo Grado.<\/p>

Ha sido asignado a cada grado un fundaci\u00f3n por la cual deber\u00e1n recaudar fondos de una manera ordenada, y en el mes de mayo deber\u00e1n hacer entregas a cada una acompa\u00f1ados de una autoridad de la Instituci\u00f3n. Es de suma importancia que durante el mes de octubre, cada grado conozca de cada fundaci\u00f3n, hagan una visita y se presente a las personas o causa por la que trabajaran, esto con el objetivo de sensibilizarlos y crear en ellos la conciencia del porqu\u00e9 del Programa de Solidaridad.<\/p>

There are many ways to be supportive. Some people participate constantly and are more active, and with others there is no continuity through time (such as when collaborating in a social collection of resources). The important thing to keep in mind is that all the contributions that someone makes will serve to improve the quality of life of those who needed the help. Solidarity can easily become a means to a solution or help to those who need it the most. It makes us feel part of a societal whole- a society that must be liveable for all its members and inhabitants.<\/p>

For all the above, Nashville School, Tegucigalpa, has created the solidarity program with the purpose of creating an awareness in students from grades sixth through tenth. A foundation has been assigned to each grade by which they must raise funds and\/or other resources in an orderly manner. It is of the utmost importance that during the month of October, each grade knows about their assigned foundation, make a visit and introduce themselves to the authority of the foundation for which they will serve. In May, they deliver to each foundation the funds or resources in accompaniment with an authority of the institution. This is done in order to sensitize the students and make them aware of why their participation is needed in a program of solidarity.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t
